Does the company offer career development?

SET was founded with an entrepreneurial spirit.   SET is not a fortune 100 company with stringent growth patterns and timelines.  We firmly believe that when people show initiative and are hungry to grow, we should help them chart their career path and help them develop new opportunities.

Your work at SET is not a job, it is a way of life.  As emergency responders, SET has similarities to the fire service, police, and emergency management.  When the “bell” rings, we must go.  A client is experiencing an emergency that threatens life and the environment.

How am I going to learn my job?

As a new field employee to SET, you will receive 100+ hours of training to learn your job.  SET also has a new hire mentoring program to help new employees learn skills and equipment during your first 90-days.Along with all of the formalized training, we also believe that hands-on training is the best way to learn as well!

All employees receive 25+ hours of annual refresher training.

SET invests 20,000+ hours per year on training for our employees.

SET employees are eligible to attend SET University classes, which are internal in-person and web-based instruction.

SET hosts summits for its employees which is a combination of technical and soft skills. SET invests tens of thousands of dollars per year in employee development.
